Galveston Garden Club Mission

To aid in the protection and conservation of natural resources, to protect civic beauty and encourage the improvement of roadsides and parks;

To advance the fine art of gardening, landscape design, the study of horticulture and floral design;

To maintain the Powhatan House as an historic landmark and operate it for the benefit of the general public of Texas.
